New on the blog! Our National Director, People & P New on the blog! Our National Director, People & Projects, Kirsty Bennett shares her communication and engagement insights on the year ahead. 💡🐎

The Year of the Horse is expected to be a year of freedom, energy and ambition, and we can already see this being reflected across many active engagement projects. As diverse communities navigate change and opportunity, engagement approaches must be equally dynamic, responsive and forward thinking. At LKB, we’re embracing this energy by continuing to build trust, unlocking the power of two way dialogue and creating space for meaningful participation. 🤝

Last week we delivered the final event in a series Last week we delivered the final event in a series of 10 Electric vehicle community events on behalf of the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water. 🚘

Each event was designed to engage with and educate local community members about emerging fast charging infrastructure across regional and metropolitan NSW. Events were hosted in Cabarita Beach, Wagga Wagga, Chatswood, Engadine, Marrickville, Ulladulla, Queanbeyan, Manly, Tamworth and Cabramatta. 📍

LKB managed the coordination, design and delivery of formal ribbon cutting ceremonies, marketing and advertising collateral and all event logistics. We worked closely alongside the NSW Government Electric Vehicle team as well as grantees @teslaaunz, @bp.australia, @mynrma and @evie.networks to successfully deliver all events.

It’s Global Facilitation Week! 🌍  This week It’s Global Facilitation Week! 🌍

This week is a chance to reflect on the powerful role facilitation plays in strengthening communities, organisations and teams of every size.

Great facilitation isn’t just about running a good workshop – it’s about bringing people together, creating the conditions for open and inclusive dialogue, and guiding groups to think deeply, explore options, and make informed decisions with clarity and confidence. It’s a craft, and when done well, it can shift outcomes, relationships and momentum.

Our Managing Director, @lucy_calmcommunication is a highly skilled and accredited facilitator with extensive experience supporting complex and contentious community and stakeholder projects, as well as delivering executive-level facilitation, team strategy sessions, employee consultation, training days and project kick-offs.

If your organisation, project or team needs structured thinking, meaningful engagement and outcomes you can stand behind, we’d love to help. 🤝🏼
