Lucy Beytagh

Founder, Managing Director & Strategic Counsel

Lucy founded The LKB Agency in 2016 with more than 20 years’ experience in strategic corporate and government communication, engagement and events.

Lucy’s career has spanned working in both agency and inhouse and has included working with multiple NSW Government agencies, the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, Sydney Opera House, Aurecon and Tenix.

Renowned for her calm and considered approach, Lucy helps clients reach their strategic goals, supports businesses to effectively engage their audiences, and provides expert advice in times of crisis.

For this reason, Lucy also offers a specialised coaching service ‘Calm communication’, where she works one on one with leaders and teams to show them how a more strategic, calm and considered approach can help them reach their communication goals.

Lucy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Social Sciences, is qualified by the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) and is a member of Communication and Public Relations Australia (CPRA) and Meeting and Events Australia (MEA).

Kirsty Bennett

National Director, People & Projects

Kirsty is a communication and engagement professional with over 18 years’ experience across stakeholder and community engagement, government relations, media relations, issues management, event management and internal communication.

She most recently led Aurecon’s NSW Communication and Stakeholder Engagement practice, leading a portfolio of projects across infrastructure, transport, water and energy.

Kirsty has extensive experience working on complex stakeholder engagement projects including managing corporate communication, stakeholder engagement and media for the Olympic Delivery Authority before, during and after the London Olympics.

Kirsty holds a Bachelor of Arts (Media and Cultural Studies) from Macquarie University, is qualified by and is a member of The Engagement Institute (formerly IAP2) and is a member of Communication and Public Relations Australia (CPRA).

Kirsty leads project delivery and continues to grow LKB’s engagement portfolio as National Director People & Projects.

Emily Eldridge

Regional Director, NSW

Emily is a warm and thoughtful engagement professional with 14 years’ of communication experience gathered in London and Australia. She holds diverse experience in stakeholder engagement, community engagement, public relations, communication planning and major project planning approvals.

Most recently, Emily led the Communication and Engagement function for Transgrid’s Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (CWOREZ) project delivering an Environmental Impact Statement for this Critical State Significant Project, and has previous experience in infrastructure communication within Transport for NSW, Sydney Water and multiple small scale regional renewable energy projects.

Emily holds a Master of Arts (Environment, Politics & Globalisation) from Kings College London, a Bachelor of Social Science (Politics & International Relations) from the University of Southampton, Public Relations Professional Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, and is fully certified and a member of The Engagement Institute (previously IAP2).

Emily leads the NSW team and is available to discuss how LKB can support with your complex projects.

Nikki Edwards

Regional Director, Queensland

Nikki has over 20 years’ experience in marketing and communication across public, private and not-for-profit sectors in Sydney, Brisbane and London. She has a proven record of delivering communication, stakeholder engagement and community engagement projects for transport, infrastructure and road safety projects.

Most recently Nikki has worked with Queensland Rail and Brisbane City Council, delivering change communication, community engagement and construction communication projects.

Nikki joins LKB to lead our Queensland based projects and team, bringing her extensive skills and experience working on large scale, complex projects and engaging with diverse communities and stakeholders to our Queensland and national clients.

Nikki holds a Bachelor of Business – Public Relations from Queensland University of Technology, is a qualified International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) practitioner and a member of Communication and Public Relations Australia (CPRA).

Aran Beytagh

Director, Finance & Operations Manager

Aran has a background in construction and infrastructure and is an experienced project manager.

He joined LKB in 2016 to take on the role of business manager, overseeing all client accounts and contracts, project administration, human resources and business and financial planning.

Aran takes care of all behind the scenes operations, systems and processes so the team can stay focused on continuously delivering high quality work for our clients.

Ellen Pilkington

COMMUNICATION & ENGAGEMENT CONSULTANT

Ellen is an enthusiastic and creative professional with experience in designing complex community engagement programs, stakeholder analysis, strategic planning and reporting. She brings strong communication and relationship-building skills to every project, helping to connect people, gather insights, and translate complex information into inclusive, meaningful outcomes.

Ellen holds a Bachelor of Business Management from the University of Western Sydney and joins LKB as Communication & Engagement Consultant.

Indiana O'Neill

Project Support

Indiana has a strong passion for working closely with people and helping clients meet their needs. She enjoys collaborating with others to ensure all project details are well-thought out and met. Indiana thrives on storytelling and conveying information in an engaging way through creative media and journalistic communications.

Indiana holds a Bachelor of Communications (Media, Arts & Production/Journalism) at University of Technology Sydney.

Indiana joins LKB as Project Support.
